Snowfall expected in north and northwestern parts of Bulgaria

During the night and tomorrow, January 9, temperatures are expected to decrease, as snowfalls and an increase in the snow cover is expected in the northern and northwestern part of the country, the Road Infrastructure Agency warns. In 6 districts - Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Lovech, Gabrovo and Sofia, a yellow code has been set for potentially dangerous weather with heavy snowfall and strong wind, also blizzards and snow drifts are possible.
The Road Infrastructure Agency advises drivers to start a trip only with suitable tires, to drive at a reasonable speed and to be extra careful.
