Minister of Tourism inspects safety measures at Burgas airport

On 15 January Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova is paying a working visit to Burgas, BGNES reports.

Together with Burgas mayor Dimitar Nikolov and regional governor Valcho Cholakov, Minister Nikolova is to meet with Frank Quante, CEO of Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, concessionaire of Burgas airport.

Mariyana Nikolova will inspect the safety measures for passengers put in place at the airport, as well as the flight programme predictions of the airport for the coming summer tourist season.

Minister Nikolova ordered an urgent inspection of the beaches in Sozopol after they suffered severe damage by the recent heavy rain and flooding.
