CITUB supports position of European trade unions

The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) has supported the call of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) for a new law guaranteeing that the EU companies will respect human, labor, social and trade union rights.

They demand the introduction of company monitoring, regardless of the place of registration, as well as sanctions for violations. Corporate control must ensure the creation of environmentally-friendly products and services that do not harm people, CITUB reminds. The opinion was voiced on occasion of the consultations initiated by the European Commission on the adoption of new corporate due diligence rules. Supporters of the initiative can take action at: <https://www.enforcinghumanrights-duediligence.eu/>, BTA reported.
