New cardiology technologies to be presented in Sofia

Modern approaches in the diagnosis and therapy in the sphere of invasive cardiology will be discussed at this year's edition of the Bulgarian course in complex coronary intervention, which will be held online on February 20 and 21, 2021, the Bulgarian Society of Interventional Cardiology has reported.

Lecturers include leading experts from Belgium, France, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Bulgaria.

For the first time at a Bulgarian forum a robotic invasive cardiology intervention will be demonstrated. Dr. Jean Fajadet from the Pasteur Clinic in Toulouse, one of the founders of modern invasive cardiology in Europe, will show his work.

There are over 6,000 cardio operations take place every year in Bulgaria, according to statistics.
