The Regional History Museum in Sliven will organize a series of virtual lessons for children studying in Bulgarian schools abroad. Topics will include  lessons about the ancient Thracians, the National Revival period figures, the national revolutionary movement, as well as personalities such as Hadji Dimitar and Panayot Hitov.

"The goal is to involve more children in the study of Bulgarian history," explained the museum's director Nikolay Sirakov.

Last year the museum held a virtual lesson with children from Chicago and Atlanta, dedicated to the Day of the National Awakeners, from the house-museum of the Sliven-born Revival Period prominent figure Dobri Chintulov.
