Start of national competition for UN youth delegates

Two youth delegates at the United Nations for the duration of 18 months will represent the voice of young people in this country and their interest at the highest level, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has announced.

The delegates will be selected by national competition organized by the UN Association of Bulgaria, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They will become part of the Bulgarian delegation at the UN General Assembly and at the Commission for Social Development of the Economic and Social Council and will contribute to the decision-making process at the organization on matters concerning young people with accredited diplomat rights.

The competition starts on 15 March and is open to all people aged 18 to 19.
