North America is the third stop on the journey of Bulgarian cinema among Bulgarians living around the world. The initiative of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad is called "BG cinema on 7 continents" and is implemented jointly with the platform gledam.bg, which has the ambition to become a digital archive of Bulgarian cinema.
Each continent has its own film weekend, when Bulgarians living there can enjoy 3 Bulgarian films and meet the creative team of one of them. Most movies have English subtitles, making them suitable for watching with foreign language friends.
After North America /May 28-30/ the journey of the Bulgarian cinema continues in Europe /June 4-6/, Australia /June 11-13/ and Asia /June 18-20/.
