National Tourism Board proposes starting vaccination tourism in Bulgaria

The Ministry of Health should allow foreign citizens to come to Bulgaria for free vaccination. This has been proposed by the National Board of Tourism due to the expiration date of certain batches of vaccines against Covid-19 in the country.
In a letter to the media, the Board members point out that "the funds for the vaccines will be returned to Bulgaria through tourism and taxes paid, as a result of the services used by foreign tourists."
This practice is already a fact in countries such as Serbia, San Marino and the United Arab Emirates, the National Tourism Board members add, claiming that  tourists from Western Europe, where vaccination moves at a slower pace, can be attracted to visit Bulgaria.
