Employers are ready to raise wages due to staff shortages

Photo: Archive

The shortage of staff will lead to a massive increase in wages in the second half of the year. This is one of the conclusions of the study "Salaries and additional benefits - trends" of ManpowerGroup Bulgaria. Almost half (49%) of the 513 employers surveyed from 12 business sectors say they will increase wages уп to 20%, and 2% predict higher growth. The reason for this is the lack of candidates for jobs in certain sectors.
The highest growth of monthly salaries is expected in Sofia, Burgas and Varna, BNR Sofia reported.
