Firefighters and volunteers continue to fight the fire that broke out near the village of Yugovo, located in the Rhodope Mountains. The natural calamity has already affected more than 110 hectares of land. The fire continues in two active fronts.

The impassable terrain makes the work of the firefighting teams difficult. Soldiers and a Cougar military helicopter are ready to join the fight against the fire today, if necessary. On Sunday, the firefighters are to fight the peripheries of the two fires to avoid the spread of the fire towards new areas.
