Truck drivers have blocked the Danube Bridge near Vidin, demanding that Romanian authorities carry out quicker border checks. The traffic was stopped in the afternoon as the blockade continued for an hour.

For months, the queues of trucks have been more than 10-15 kilometers long. Drivers have complained that they are waiting at the border for more than 20 hours and are calling for inspections carried out on Romanian territory to be sped up, Anzhela Kamenova of BNR-Vidin has reported.
