Today, Bulgaria’s head of state Rumen Radev will confer the Presidential Badge of Honor to the Bulgarian athletes who won medals at the Tokyo Olympics and the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
At a ceremony in the Coat of Arms Hall, gold medalists Ivet Goranova (karate), Stoyka Krasteva (boxing), and the rhythmic gymnastics ensemble (Simona Dyankova, Stefani Kiryakova, Madlen Radukanova, Laura Traats and Erika Zafirova) will receive the Presidential Badge of Honor for their outstanding achievements in sports, for winning Olympic titles, for supporting young talents and for their huge contribution to Bulgaria's sports glory. President Radev will also award silver medalists Antoaneta Kostadinova (shooting), Hristian Stoyanov and Ruzhdi Ruzhdi (athletics) and bronze medalists Taybe Yusein and Evelina Nikolova (wrestling).
