Boris Bekyarov, an associate of fugitive businessman Vassil Bojkov, who is hiding out in Dubai, has returned to Bulgaria and has been detained for 24 hours.
In February the prosecutor’s office brought charges against him, in absentia, of being part of an organized crime group, and a European arrest warrant was issued.
