Bilyana Dudova tops United World Wrestling Ranking in the 59-kg category

Bulgarian wrestler Bilyana Dudova topped the United World Wrestling Ranking in the 59-kg category. Earlier in October, the twenty-four-year-old Dudova who competes for “Unak Lokomotiv” wrestling club won the title at the 2021 World Wrestling Championship in Oslo.

Bilyana Dudova climbed from rank 5 to rank 1 and has a total score of 76 points. Sarita Sarita (India) who won the bronze medal in Oslo is second with 41 points. Shoovdor Baatarzhav (Mongolia) who also earned a bronze medal in Oslo is third in the ranking.

Bilyana Dudova is a four-time European wrestling champion in 3 different categories- 55 kg, 57 kg and 59 kg. She also won two silver medals at world wrestling championships.
