Court blocks decisions of BFU Congress

Two panels of the Sofia City Court have stopped registering the decisions of the latest congress of the Bulgarian Football Union - BFU. This happened after 3 football clubs filed appeals over numerous violations in the procedure for holding the congress, the team of one of the candidates for President of the Bulgarian Football Union, Dimitar Berbatov, said.

Meanwhile, after a disastrous 0:4 loss against Switzerland the manager of Bulgaria, Yassen Petrov, announced that he had no explanation about the weak performance of the team. Despite the failure of the Bulgarians to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, he wants to continue to lead the national team and sign a new contract with the Bulgarian Football Union.
