Bulgaria's Central Election Commission (CEC) has asked the Supreme Administrative Court to suspend the court's decision to release the detained 228 voting machines owned by Ciela Norma company. The company officials demand that the machines be released by the Gendarmerie Directorate and be moved to a warehouse owned by the company. The company officials say the machines are intended for use in Albania and Georgia, BNR reported.

The company is a contract supplier of voting machines. The 228 machines in question, found in stock before November 14, were seized after being found to be outside the number agreed with the CEC.
