Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, December 29

Cloudy weather is in the forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, December 29. Rain is expected in the eastern parts of the country. Significant precipitation is expected in some areas in the Rhodope Mountains and the far southeastern regions. Black ice is possible in Northeastern Bulgaria on Wednesday morning. There will be light showers in Western Bulgaria. Morning fogs are also in the forecast. Light easterly and northeasterly winds are also expected. Northwesterly winds are expected in the evening hours. The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 0°C and 5°C. The maximum temperatures will range between 3°C and 8°C. Daytime temperatures will be slightly higher in the far southern parts of the country.

The weather in the mountains will be cloudy and foggy. Rain is expected in the eastern parts of the country. Significant precipitation is expected in the Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar mountains. Light showers are expected in the mountain areas in Western Bulgaria. It will snow at an altitude of 1,600 meters and above. Light to moderate southerly winds are expected in the morning hours. Northerly and northwesterly winds are in the forecast for the evening hours. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 6°C, at 2,000 meters- around 0°C.
