Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Saturday, January 8

The weather on Saturday will be predominantly cloudy. Light rain is in the forecast for Eastern Bulgaria. Black ice is expected in the Ludogorie region in the morning hours. Rain and snow are expected in Northwestern Bulgaria.

 Light to moderate northeasterly winds are expected in the Danubian Plain and the eastern parts of the country. The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 1°C and 6°C, for Sofia- 3°C. The maximum temperatures will range from 3°C 4°C in the northwestern parts of Bulgaria to 9°C-10°C in some areas in Western Bulgaria.

It will be cloudy and foggy in the mountains with light snow in many places and rain at an altitude below 1,300 meters. Moderate to strong southwesterly winds are expected. The maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters will reach 3°C, at 2,000 meters- around minus 2°C.

More rain and snow are expected on Sunday. Temperatures will remain almost unchanged.
