President Radev convenes National Security Advisory Council to discuss the European integration of the Western Balkans

On January 10, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev convenes the National Security Advisory Council. The meeting will be themed "Integration of the Western Balkans into the EU. The role of the Republic of Bulgaria in the enlargement of the EU and in the process of stabilization and association: the Republic of North Macedonia and Albania.

 "We need to speed up the process of European integration of the Republic of North Macedonia, meanwhile respecting the national interest. It is important to understand that the rights of Macedonian Bulgarians, the creation of conditions for their full inclusion in the public, political and cultural life of North Macedonia is of great importance for Bulgaria as well", President Radev said on the occasion of the forthcoming National Security Advisory Council.
