Foreign Ministry issues warning to Bulgarians in Odessa region

Bulgarian State Railways provides arrivals from Ukraine with free train journey

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that all Bulgarian citizens in Odessa region remain at home or hide in the nearest bomb shelter. Referring to information from allied services, the ministry urges all Bulgarian citizens to stay indoors after 10 am on March 2.

The Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) provides free train journeys in Bulgaria to arrivals from Ukraine. To get a free ticket, arrivals from Ukraine need to show a regular ID card to train conductors or at ticket booking offices.
