Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues evacuation of Bulgarians and foreign nationals from Ukraine

During a meeting with Bulgarian diplomats in Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska has pointed out that the evacuation of Bulgarians from Ukraine, as well as of foreign citizens continues. So far, about 1,000 Bulgarian citizens have been evacuated from Ukraine by buses and trains. Foreign nationals have also used the transport provided.

Minister Genchovska also said that there were many Bessarabian Bulgarians who wanted to come to Bulgaria. There are regular bus services organized for them. There are over 40 Bulgarians in Chisinau who also want to be evacuated. Minister Genchovska pointed out that during her planned visit to Moldova tomorrow, she would use the opportunity to evacuate them onboard the government plane.
