European leaders accept Bulgaria’s proposal for special fund in support of refugees from Ukraine

The European Union leaders have accepted Bulgaria’s proposal for a common fund to support the refugees from Ukraine, Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov said after the end of the informal European Council in Versailles. The money will be collected from residual funds under other EU programmes. The initiative is expected to raise some EUR 10 billion.

Latter, Premier Kiril Petkov will travel to Antalya to meet with Turkey’s President Recep Erdogan.
