9 regions of Bulgaria remain in 14-day red zone for coronavirus incidence rate

The regions of Blagoevgrad, Kurdzhali and Pazardzhik are in the 14-day green zone with regard to coronavirus incidence, the National Centre of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases has announced. The region of Silistra is in the dark-red zone – the zone with the highest Covid-19 incidence rate. Sofia-city and the following regions are in the red zone: Veliko Turnovo, Stara Zagora, Yambol, Burgas, Shumen, Varna and Dobrich. The remaining regions of the country are in the yellow zone.

The 14-day coronavirus incidence rate for the country is 276 per 100,000 residents. Intensive care bed occupancy in hospitals is low and is evenly spread out across the country’s territory; no change is expected in the coming days.
