Bulgarian composer Penka Kouneva was part of the team who won this year’s Grammy Music Award in the Best Classical Compendium category for the soundtrack to the film "Women Warriors". The film is dedicated to women activists who fight for women's rights.

Penka Kouneva has been working in Hollywood as a composer and orchestrator for more than 20 years now. She wrote seven of the fourteen tracks for "Women Warriors".

"My music is dramatic, tonal, with classical yet modern sound. Film music that tells stories," the composer told BNR.
