Teachers' salaries in Bulgaria rise by 12%

Teachers' starting salary rises in Bulgaria and will reach 723 euros a month. This is a rise of 12%, the Ministry of Education and Science said. Salaries of other pedagogical staff in schools are raised by the same percentage, as well as the salaries of the teachers in kindergartens. Today, the Minister of Education Nikolay Denkov and the social partners have signed the annex to the current collective labor agreement for the system of pre-school and school education.
