Bulgaria reports 609 new Covid-19 cases, a positivity rate of 6.7%

609 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 9,082 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 6.7%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 1,052 patients are being treated in hospital, 118 of them in intensive care.

17 have died in the past day, 1,530 is the number of recoveries reported. 

The highest number of newly registered infections is in Sofia - 179in Plovdiv – 46 and in Varna -31. 

1,646 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day. 2,053,618 people in the country have completed their vaccination cycle, and 737,683 have taken a booster shot.
