The Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble is not participating in the World Cup Series in Baku because it did not receive an invitation from the organizers because of a misunderstanding, the President of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Iliana Raeva, wrote on Facebook.

"I would like to clarify that the relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, as well as between me and the President of the Azerbaijani Federation Mariana Vasileva are excellent. She called me a few days ago to tell me about the delay and the misunderstanding. I assure you that there is no dramatic situation. We wish success to Boryana Kaleyn and Eva Brezalieva in the individual competition," Raeva wrote.
