Bulgaria’s Premier Kiril Petkov confirmed that "We Continue the Change" party had received a "warm invitation" to join the Renew Europe Group. The party with the largest group in Bulgaria’s National Assembly will decide whether to join Renew Europe at a meeting of its executive council.

According to Kiril Petkov, it is logical that "We Continue the Change" joins the European liberals, provided higher standards against corruption are introduced. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms is also a member of Renew Europe.
