Bulgaria expects an increase of tourists from Poland and Germany

Tourism Minister Hristo Prodanov predicted that the tourist season will be better than last year. He took part in the "BG Tourism - Summer 2022" forum in Varna, organized by BTA. The minister informed that bookings from Poland are doing best, growth is also expected from Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, and Macedonia.

Interest from Israel and the UK is also stronger than in previous years.

Minister Prodanov said that due to the war in Ukraine, the funds earmarked for attracting Russian and Ukrainian tourists have been redirected to other markets.
