The device, which is 0.1°С accurate, was developed by Bulgarian medical specialists and monitors the body temperature of children and adults around the clock, without using mercury, spirit or electronic thermometers. It functions by single application of a thermochromic indicator. The product was developed on the basis of a microencapsulated pigment, which is soluble in a non-aqueous bioenvironment, and is easy to wipe off using a dry cloth or washed off with water, BGNES reports.
