UEFA to sanction North Macedonia over booing of the Bulgarian national anthem

UEFA has officially announced the draw for the Euro 2024 qualifiers in Germany. The draw will take place on October 9 in Frankfurt. Bulgaria will be in Pool 4 after two wins over Gibraltar (5:1) and North Macedonia (1:0) in the League of Nations this month.

In urn 4 are: Georgia, Greece, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, BULGARIA, Faroe Islands, North Macedonia.
Meanwhile, it became clear that the football federation of North Macedonia will receive a sanction from UEFA for booing the national anthem of Bulgaria. This is what the executive director of the Bulgarian Football Union, Borislav Popov, told BNT.
