Bulgarian students win medals at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics in Antalya

Four Bulgarian female students won medals at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics in Antalya (Turkey), the Ministry of Education and Science said. 

Yasmin Erdim from Geo Milev High School of Mathematics-Pleven and Nora Paskaleva from the American College of Sofia won silver medals. Emiliana Dimitrova from Paisiy Hilendarski High School of Mathematics-Sofia and Denitsa Yankova from the High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Shumen claimed bronze medals.

 Bulgaria places third in the team ranking. Bulgaria’s team is headed by Plamenka Hristova from the University of Ruse and Ilian Yordanov from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
