“The Schengen issue should not become a bargaining chip for short-lived glory”, said caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev with regard to the calls of parliamentary parties and business associations for a boycott against the Netherlands.

"The art of diplomacy is most effectively expressed through the ability to reverse a position with one remark, made at the right moment, and to remain silent when everyone else is outshouting", said Premier Galab Donev before the start of the government meeting.

Galab Donev called on the MPs to do their job by adopting the laws under the Recovery and Resilience Plan submitted by the caretaker government.
