Due to the strike of border force workers in the United Kingdom from 23-26 December and from 28-31 December, citizens planning to travel to and from the UK should follow the latest information about possible delays or cancellations of flights and ferry services from their carriers, warns the Bulgarian Embassy in London.

The strike is expected to affect passport control at London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports, flights to Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham and port control. Rail union workers will also go on strike.
