A classical live cinema concert by pianist Veneta Neynska is the first event for the year organized by the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris. The concert is on 12 January at the gallery of the institute. The music, performed by Veneta Neynska, who studied under world-renowned pianist John Perry, will be dedicated to composer, pianist and intellectual Dimitar Nenov.
A short documentary called Dimitar Nenov and the Dimensions of Elegance will also present the Bulgarian composer. Veneta Neynska has also included music by Dimitar Nenov’s favourite composer - Franz Liszt, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris says.
Dimitar Nenov is author of works for symphony orchestra, vocal and instrumental pieces, as well as piano music. His compositions are seen as a model of excellence by a number of composers from the generations coming after him seeking to assert themselves and blaze a trail in Bulgarian music.
