The largest international tourist exhibition in Bulgaria, Holiday and ‎SPA, is opening today. Almost 260 participants from 15 countries present ‎their most attractive tourist products in the halls of the Inter Expo Center in ‎Sofia. ‎

‎"For the first time, the National Tourism Board of Algeria is ‎participating”, Vihra Ognianova from the organizer company points out, and ‎adds more new moments: “For the first time, we have companies from ‎Lithuania, tour operators from the Maldives Islands and Mauritius. ‎Traditionally, there are many participants from Greece, but many more from ‎Turkey. In their presentations, the companies focus on exotic destinations.”‎

Within three days, national and regional tourism organizations and centers, tour ‎operator agencies, tourist destinations, hotels, tourist attractions, events and ‎festivals will have a meeting place in Sofia. Wine regions, suppliers of ‎technology and hotel equipment are also presented, BNR reporter Mila ‎Mladenova explains:‎

‎"Large Bulgarian tour operators have a large-scale presence in the ‎exhibition halls with interestingly presented new programs for travelers. ‎The 9th annual meeting of the National Tourism Board and a discussion on the ‎new challenges facing the tourism sector and solutions through public-private ‎partnerships will take place on the first day of the exhibition, as part of its ‎discussion program. The Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel ‎Agents raises the burning issue of shortage of personnel, with an emphasis on ‎solving problems and improving the image of the tourism sector as an ‎employer”. ‎

The first day at Inter Expo Centre is only for professionals, and the ‎remaining two days are open to visitors. They will be able to participate in ‎various tastings, as well as find special price offers.‎
