OECD mission to present its economic servey of Bulgaria

A mission of the Environmental Policy Committee of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation  and Development (OECD) is in Sofia on April 4 and 5. Meetings will be held at the Ministry of Environment and Water, where a technical overview will be presented and issues related to Bulgaria's compliance with the OECD’s instruments will be discussed. 

The purpose of the mission is to assess the country’s progress in the environment sector. The discussions cover topics related to eco-efficiency and the effectiveness of environmental policies. This is the first mission of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Bulgaria. It is the result of the active hard work of the Ministry of the Environment and Water and its achievements in the sector.
