Sofia Municipal Council Chairman warns against posible tax increase

The political forces We Continue the Change, Democratic Bulgaria and Save Sofia are uniting for the forthcoming local elections, in order to gain power at the expense of higher taxes for citizens, Sofia Municipal Council Chairman Georgi Georgiev warned, quoted by BGNES. In his words, "these parties are aiming for a majority in the municipal council so that any unpopular idea of their common mayor can pass effortlessly. The chairman of the Sofia City Council insists that at a time of rising inflation and soaring prices the candidates show what they have done so far in Sofia.
