Dance groups from 11 countries take part in Gold Dust festival in Chelopech

More than 420 participants will present dances from 5 continents at the 7th edition of the Gold Dust Festival, July 13-16 in the village of Chelopech, Sofia region.

Dancers from China, the island of Guam, Indonesia, Chile, Kosovo, Montenegro, Ireland, Georgia, Israel and other countries are expected to take part. What makes this event unique is that it features a contest programme for the Bulgarian participants, while the dancers from other countries present the dances and typical costumes of their countries, the organizers say. The idea is to build bridges of friendship between different cultures.
