All Levski football fans detained in Skopje, North Macedonia, have been released.

Their fines have been paid after fans raised the money after the match between Levski and Shkupi, Skopje.

“The Bulgarian fans stopped their cars, got out of them, after which a quarrel began which developed into a physical altercation with a group of citizens,” the prosecutor’s office in Skopje announced, as quoted by BGNES. Oliver Spasovski, Minister of the Interior of North Macedonia stated that the identity of the assailants who stabbed a Bulgarian Levski fan had been established and that a search was on for them. Minister Spasovski stated further that the vehicles with Bulgarian licence plates had driven through the residential area Čair to provoke the public, and that they had arrived in North Macedonia by private transport and not as part of the organized transportation for the football match.
