The problem with Schengen is not in the European institutions. It is in two countries, MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk said for BNR. He recalled that Austria is about to hold elections and that according to the polls, the far right was ahead of the systemic parties. Elections will soon be held in the Netherlands as well, MEP Kyuchyuk noted. In his words, referring the migration policy issue only to non-Schengen countries is a political myopia, because no country can cope with migration alone.

Geopolitical confrontation moved to the Black Sea region. The new European security architecture is about to be built, Ilhan Kyuchyuk said. "We have to join it as a very active party, not as passive observers", MEP Kyuchyuk went on to say.
