PP-DB ask Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel about Bulgaria's entry into Schengen

PP-DB sent an official inquiry to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mariya Gabriel, regarding what measures she would take by the end of the year for Bulgaria's entry into Schengen.

"We observe the continuous efforts of Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and individual MPs from the governing majority for an accelerated completion of the procedure for our acceptance into Schengen, but we note with concern the weaker activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in defending this goal," the PP-DB notes, asking for an account of the work done by Gabriel.

Mariya Gabriel is the only representative of GERB-SDS in the Denkov cabinet. Last week, the leader of GERB Boyko Borisov and the co-chairman of the PG of the DPS Delyan Peevski asked the Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov for a report on what the government did to implement the agreement with the protesting miners and energy workers.
