Movement for Rights and Freedoms also call for regular ministerial reports in parliamentary committees

Unlike Wednesday, when there was no quorum, today the parliament gathered to work on its legislative program. The MPs terminated the powers of 5 of their colleagues who resigned because of their election to municipal positions or for personal reasons.

This government must continue its work as it would be absolutely damaging to the country and the people if we go back into a cycle of caretaker governments. This is what the chairman of the DPS parliamentary group, Delyan Peevski, said before the session. He agreed with the idea of GERB leader Boyko Borisov that the ministers should report every week to the parliamentary committees where common decisions would be made. Peevski added that his party did not want any ministerial positions.
