GERB leader Boyko Borissov called the current government “a compromise in the highest degree for the sake of important goals”.
At the national winter academy for women, GERB, in Kazanlak he pointed out that the progress towards the Schengen area could only have been achieved when the European People’s Party and the liberal family work together. “The Eurozone can never happen if not now,” Boyko Borissov said.
He stated further that the monument to the Soviet army should be transferred to the Museum of Socialist Art. “That should have happened without any violence, without aggression which is polarizing society, with a clear explanation that this is what times are like, that the country has changed although we respect history,” he said.
Boyko Borissov stated that the state budget is going to be adopted next week – “a compromise budget but it is better for the country for it to take place.”
