Eighteen Roma children will perform today on the stage of the Sliven-based puppet theater in the performance "The Bird of Happiness".

The fourth-graders from the "Miladinovi Brothers" and "Yurii Gagarin" elementary schools not only participate in the creation of the production based on Romany fairy tales and legends, but also transform themselves into different roles.

"The purpose of the performance is to support the social integration and development of children through art," explains Petar Petrov, publicist of the cultural institution.
