Visitors from 24 countries are expected in the mountain resort of Semkovo, some 17 kms. North of Belitsa.

The festival will officially open at 11.30 AM, after which kukeri from Bansko will perform traditional rituals to banish evil spirits. There will also be performances by the Belitsa folklore ensemble, Yordan Nikolov with Pirinsko Troyche and ensemble Gaitan
