Devotees line up to bid farewell to late Patriarch Neophyte

Doors of St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral will be open as long as there are mourners

The Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky will be open to mourners from all over the country who wish to pay their last respects to the late Patriarch Neophyte. 

It will remain open until there are faithful waiting. This was announced to journalists by Metropolitan Anthony of Western and Central Europe. 

Since early this morning, a long line of worshippers had queued up to pay their respects to the head of the Orthodox Church. In addition to the laity and Orthodox clergy, representatives of various Christian denominations and beliefs bowed before the remains of His Holiness.
