Rain in the east, cloudy in the rest of Bulgaria

On Thursday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between 1 and 4°C, with 0°C in Sofia. During the day there will be scattered clouds, dense only over the eastern half of the country, where it will rain. Highs will range from 12 to 17°C, with 8 to 11°C in northeastern Bulgaria and 13°C in the capital.

It will be cloudy and rainy along the Black Sea coast. Air temperatures will be 8-10°C, close to the sea water temperature which will be 8-9°C. The sea swell will be 1-2. 

There will be variable clouds over the mountains. Snow will fall over the eastern massifs and the central Balkans. Lower altitudes will see rain mixed with snow. Temperatures will reach 6°C at 1,200 m and minus 1°C at 2,000 m.

The precipitation will stop on Friday. In the morning, there will be frost in the western half of the country and thunderstorms in the eastern half.
