Weather forecast for 1 August

Sunny and warm nationwide until Friday

Thursday will be sunny and warm across the country, with a light north-easterly wind. Minimum temperatures will be between 13°C and 21°C, with a low of 13°C in Sofia. Highs will be between 32°C and 37°C, 32°C in the capital.

Sunny skies are expected along the Black Sea coast, with a moderate breeze from the east. Air temperatures will reach 29°C to 31°C, while sea temperatures will be between 27°C and 28°C. Sea swell will be around 2.

In the mountains it will be sunny with light winds from the south-east and north-west. Maximum temperatures will be around 26°C at 1,200 metres and 18°C at 2,000 metres.

On Friday, the sunny weather will continue and temperatures will rise. However, some clouds are expected in the west during the afternoon.
