On Transfiguration Day it will rain only in the northeastern regions

On Tuesday, the clouds will be variable, more significant in the afternoon over Eastern Bulgaria and the mountains and in places there will be rain and thunderstorms. Winds across the country, at the latest in the extreme eastern regions, will be oriented from the northwest and will strengthen to moderate, in the Danube plain and the Ludogorie region - temporarily strong.

Maximum temperatures tomorrow will be between 29°C and 34°C, in Sofia - around 29°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, sunny weather will prevail before noon. Cloudy and cumulus clouds will develop around noon and by the evening it will rain and thunder in many places. Winds will be mainly light from the west-southwest, becoming north-northwesterly and moderate in the evening. Maximum temperatures will be between 26°C and 31°C. The sea water temperature is 26°-27°C. 

Scattered clouds are expected over the mountains, more significant in the afternoon and it will rain in places. There will be moderate to strong northwest winds.

The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be around 24°C, at 2,000 metres - around 16°C.
